Author. Mostly some automated updates while I pursue neverending deadlines, but also upcoming excerpts for fun. Bone Witch, Silver Under Nightfall, The Girl from the Well, and other shenanigans.

Excited to share a sneak peek from my story, WORTHY, featured in the new anthology, Critical Role: The Mighty Nein - Stories Untold, out on August 11th, told through the perspective of Astrid Becke herself. 👀 🎊 (Yes, there is a lot of Caleb/Bren angst even when she's being a baddie.)

Monsterfucking has officially been confirmed in this work in progress, because I just wrote THAT scene. (original artist unknown; this art has been around since 2018 but the og deviantart account was deleted :/ but damn if this is not the aesthetic I want for this book.)

black and white complex sketch of a wendigo like figure with a skull and a skeletal frame, with shadowy features, against a purple and red abstract background.

When he looks at you the way the hot brooding villain looks at the female protagonist he's falling for. 🩷 (when you're so frustrated by Pinterest AI you resort to using your custom characters in the game you play in.) In related news, still plodding along with #swanbook #wip

Out today! WE ARE NOT SAFE HERE is my ode to analog horror, ARGs, creepy conspiracy theories trying to explain the unknowable told by a narrator who wants to know why the body that just turned up in the woods is not a body from the woods. Thank you, and I hope you all enjoy this weird little book!

"Its most unique characteristic is the noises it makes as it moves, which resemble the moans and cries of someone in pain, or the cries of a baby, coupled with the sound of something very heavy pulling itself across the floor. Cryptid #2 - the Quiet Brother, from WE ARE NOT SAFE HERE, out Nov 4!

"Truly nature’s wonder, though one may even argue it actually goes against it. There is nothing about its physiology that makes sense. This little creature isn’t supposed to exist. It cannot possibly exist. And yet here it is." A look at Cryptid #1 from YA horror, WE'RE NOT SAFE HERE, out Nov 4/25!

I would love to do more giveaways for WE'RE NOT SAFE HERE, but shipping is out due to tariffs thanks to the mason jar-shaped personification of a tantrum in charge of the US. US residents will not be part of the next giveaway, apologies while I figure something out. TLDR: release the Epstein files.

Notice at the local post office that says: Suspension of all classes of mails bound to USA due to US tariff regulations

Unboxing day is here and the copies of WE ARE NOT SAFE HERE are looking good! (I am still trying to figure out if a giveaway is doable without anyone having to pay extra tariffs by the morons in charge, because books don't seem to have an exemption over here.)

Monsterfucking book (tm) may have to take a backseat, as it has gotten far more complex than how I envisioned it, and will need more time to percolate. A good thing! I can eke out the heat and the angst far better given more space. My "Swan Lake" WIP, however, is proceeding as planned....

We Are Not Safe Here will be out on Nov 4 2025 and will have TEN audiobook narrators. Yup. Ten. There'll be message board posts, blog entries, video narrations. We Are Not Safe Here is a book about a community facing a monster from outside its woods - and within it!

Just learned Silver Under Nightfall earned out in a big way last year, earlier than I even thought! I'm glad people like this ridiculous throuple, and I hope to bring more of the same ridiculousness with the next adult fantasy I have in mind! Sincerely - thank you!

Guess who officially has a new horror book coming out this fall? This is Welcome to Night Vale meets the SCP Foundation, two of my favorite things, and I cannot wait to show you the book cover, coming soon!

Votes are in, and here's the winner! This is likely going to be the next wip I hammer at, and as thanks for voting, here's a quick summary of what it's going to be about! Some things might change during the writing process, but this is the general plot I had in mind that I would like to focus on!
