#CampRevPit is 1st page swaps, positivity passes, and community prompts. It’s all run by authors from the #RevPit community because the editors are all in our editing caves. It’s definitely a nice way to come down from the chaos of the annual contest + make some great connections with other writers

While we're waiting for our winners, let's go over what you need for camp. 1st- What is #CampRevPit? #CampRevPit came out of the 2020 Annual Contest when mental health was suffering and was an idea for how to help writers cope with rejection after winners were announced.
Very wise words. It can feel so hard to put our work out for judgement or critique - a lot of feelings are involved. I always surprise myself with how many feels I have post- #RevPit each year, and this is my 6th year submitting! Losing a contest doesn’t mean you or your book have any less value. ❤️
