Now you can opt out of having your posts shown to non-followers in the Discover feed. We know not everyone wants to go viral. Sometimes you're just posting for your followers. This is one of a few updates we're working on to give you more control over your experience and help you find your people.

We're redesigning the notifications tab! 🔔 It's one of the most visited surfaces on the app, and a lot of you have told us it could be better. Here's a look at what we're exploring. 🧵

"All" tab that shows all your notifications in chronological order."Follows" tab that shows you a list of people who follow you, so you never miss a follow-back."Conversations" tab that allows you to view mentions, replies, and quotes all in one place. "Activity" tab that shows all the posts from accounts you've subscribed to.

we're planning v2 of our standard.site integration in the bsky app the goal is to make the "subscribe" button work. when you tap "subscribe" on a link card, what should happen? e.g. - get notifications on bsky when new articles are published - see new articles in a feed or separate tab - more?

v1.127 is live! We're rolling out improvements to search over the coming weeks. You'll get more relevant results and more ways to find what you're looking for. The new "Filters" button lets you query and filter by keywords, people, date range, language and more. You can even share your searches!

Bluesky launched in February 2023 as an invite-only platform. As of June 2026, we have 45 million users. For reference, that's almost the population of Argentina. Thank you for being here with us 💙 Here’s to the next 45 million accounts.

how do you want to see notifications improved on Bluesky? we're investing a design cycle into improving the Notifications page. tell me what would make this page more useful for you.

Seeing clips of all the Japanese and European tourists coming to the US for the World Cup and losing their minds over ranch sauce, free chips and salsa, and Walmart is absolutely sending me 🥺

v1.123 is live! You can now attach up to 10 photos in posts. We listened to your feedback and redesigned the photo carousel. It only appears for posts with at least 5 photos. Swipe through to learn more.
