Hello! I am a tiny caretaker poss, at your service! though i'm not the biggest... or the fastest... the smartest... or the most competant... i'm always willing to help out my stinkers becoming their true selves <3 Born 1998 | He/Him |18+ or DNI!

Alt-text is often hailed as an accessibility aid and it is that but also I want to point out other benefits: - mute filters work! your followers who have a term muted won't have to see an image you've properly alt-texted. - alt text shows up in search so you can SEARCH YOUR IMAGE POSTS (HUGE)

Using alt text is a way to be kind that you can start doing right now. It’s right there in your accessibility settings. Turn on require alt text before posting to help yourself remember (worth checking because this app sometimes flips it off for no reason).

Screenshot of the accessibility settings in Bluesky. It shows two options, “require alt text before posting” and “display larger alt text badges.” Both are at to on.
