A very special call: Over our 20 (!) years we’ve published stories from all the continents of the world, except Antarctica. We want to remedy that. We’re looking for stories between 2000–6000 words from writers who are in, have recently been to, or have plans to visit Antarctica in the near future.

I find editing and rewriting a hard stage because it's easy to feel like I'm not getting much done. I could have sworn I barely wrote anything in the last two days, then I made an extract of just the substantially rewritten sections to send to my husband and it was 16 pages long

An actual hot take: Too many authors are afraid of editors watering down their voice or whatever and not afraid enough of editors letting you put any old slop on the page.
