Man, I wasn’t super into this second volume of Ayodele’s Storm, but it’s incredibly shitty of Marvel to cancel the book with so little notice that Ayodele apparently didn’t have space in his script to write an actual ending. #XSpoilers

I hate to beat a dead horse, but I really liked the last issue of Erica Schultz's Rogue miniseries up until she went back to Haven House and I was reminded of all the stuff going on there. Genuinely engaging quiet issue that whiffs in the epilogue because of weird pacing and art choices #XSpoilers

Just generally, I don't have any interest in making Ellis a complex villain. She's clearly playing on real world assholes who don't care about the damage they cause so long as they can accrue money and power. She had an abusive brother who was also a mutant? That's awful! She still sucks

I haven't noticed it at a store, but today I realized my co-teacher says it at the start of class, and it is deeply strange. "Welcome" doesn't need a preposition, fellow English teacher!

Was struggling to just put some comic ideas down on paper today, and a coworker noticed and said out of the blue, "by the way, you're a good artist" and I was really deep in my self hatred but noted the comment and appreciated it later
Why not? I need something to do on here that isn't fretting or complaining.
Went to my LCS today because I thought "I will be proactive and afford myself a chance at a good Spider-Man Superman cover." I was lucky to have picked up the last copy they had on the shelf.
