I'm reminded of when I turned to C when watching Westworld and solemnly asked her "What would you do if I turned out to be a robot?" and she laughed until she cried before gasping out, delighted, "but who would make a robot like you!" That, but my writing.

For writers worried that they won't be able to "prove" their work isn't Spicy Autocomplete--worry not. You thought about every choice and will be able to talk about those choices easily and clearly. Folks who used the slop machine didn't make choices and won't have anything to say about why

I'm just imagining the composer of Into The Unknown sitting down and thinking "you know what Frozen 2 needs - a big song which even sung properly has haunting atonal properties, so will sound like the energetic murder of cats when kids have a shot, that'll be good, parents won't murder me."

If you’re a Gondorian soldier your experience with hobbits is a tiny guy shows up with a wizard and is immediately taken in the Steward’s counsel. He saves Faramir when the Steward goes mad. A second tiny guy arrives with the Rohirrim and kills the Witch King. The first one then goes on campaign …

Music videos with diegetic sound effects or dialogue that aren't in the song are ridiculous egotism from a director who hates the job they're doing, has reduced the standing of music in culture and mostly suck.

Almighty-type “add a litre of drum machine” covers 1000% beat indie-ass “slow down a banger, make it sad” covers. See the ur-examples, PSB Always On My Mind and Gary Jules Mad World
