That's actually one of Enya's jobs as a militia truck driver. If she sees someone on the road in need of help, she's obligated by the terms of her employment to do something. She should have food, water, and medical supplies in her truck

The death of Brie's father weighs heavily on her. Quite literally, in fact. She tried to heal him too young and accidentally killed him. It was too much for her and it transfigured her left arm into inanimate crystal. Over a decade later and it still haunts her thoughts and motivations. #WipPit

Text reads:

Meridith Moonwake wants to be a detective, but their quaint village, Witches’ Gathering, has none. Instead, the village depends on its sister town for investigations, besides Meridith’s father is determined to foist his cauldron shop onto her. So when brooms begin vanishing over the course of several months, Meridith knows this is the most exciting, albeit nerve-wracking, thing to happen in their town. If she can solve the case of the missing brooms, perhaps her father will finally understand her passion. After all, a witch’s broom is more than a way to fly. Like a spellbook, it is a companion, a piece of them. When Meridith holds a gathering in the shop to recruit help, she didn’t expect to lure the broomsnatcher straight to her.

All Darson Hearth wanted was a cauldron to help him become a better potions master. But when his broom is stolen, he’s devastated, and he blames Meridith for luring the burglar into town and her shop. Determined to track down his companion, and unable to shake Meridith and her new friend, Charity, Darson reluctantly lets them tag along.

Charity Briar recently moved to Witches’ Gathering after a devastating heartbreak. They want to find meaning in their life, and when they sees Meridith’s flyer, they wonder if this might be their calling.

Together, the three of them set out to uncover the mystery shrouding Witches’ Gathering.
