In years past, I would have lost faith after the Smith double. This year I just KNEW it would be fine, and it was.

A tornado hit Detroit's East Side last night so we came out to assess the damage and check in on the community. To support residents who need water, food, and batteries to get through the next few days, go to: afterthestormmi.org

I got hit by an IFL player and was talking salad and couldn't hear out of one ear for three hours, one hit from an NFL player would disintegrate me
Do you think you take a hit from a NFL player and not fumble the ball at your age?

Cooper Pratt is a good baseball player, but I wish he sucked so I could call him "Pooper Crap."

I think this desire to "solve a puzzle" has ruined a lot of tv shows. Westworld, for example, was ruined because they thought their job was to outsmart an audience. It's not! Tell me a fucking story!
If you watch TV because you want a puzzle to solve, your opinion of what is or is not a good show will be different from people who watch for other reasons. Neither is right or wrong.
Ahhh. Ok. All makes sense now. Everyone's tastes are a little different, I suppose. If you don't care for Lynch beyond Blue Velvet, then a straight dose of Lynch to the eyeballs would be off-putting.
I was never part of the Lynch cult.
Ok, this bugs me. The "who killed Laura Palmer" angle was from the network. Lynch famously wasn't as interested in that, and was more interested (as he was in blue velvet) about how the light side of humanity holds the darkness at bay.
If you begin with "Who killed Laura Palmer" and then say "it doesn't matter, here's some cool weird stuff about coffee and pies and a lady who carries a log," then you're basically telling the audience to go f*** itself. I was mesmerized by Blue Velvet; couldn't believe it was the same director
Throwback to the time when I spiced up the work fridge and no one noticed for a year.
My four favorite movies: Goodfellas A Night at the Opera Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan Nacho Libre (it's way better than you think!!!)
Star Wars is popular because Gen X can't let go of their youth, and any new Star Wars is just trying to make Gen X feel like they did when they first watched it, which is impossible to do.
ENGAGEMENT BAIT! What is your MOST CONTROVERSIAL Star Wars opinion? And I don't want embarrassingly lukewarm takes like "Jabba The Hutt was actually a good employer". I need opinions that could land you in jail. GO!
@sarahlynne.bsky.social Great meeting you at the Midwest Gaming Classic and playing Dizzy Sheep Disaster! Really cool game!
