An interesting study from the Netherlands. Reducing antimicrobial use in livestock alone is insufficient to reduce human AMR. “Overall, there was an increasing trend in AMR among human C. jejuni/coli isolates during the study period, which contrasted with a decreasing trend in livestock AMU.”
