Hi #portfolioday I'm Charlie 'Newt' Borovský and I love folklore & tormenting characters. Got a lot of stuff as NDAs still but I have experience in TTRPGs + Book Covers / Interiors + Concept Art for animation & games. Booking for Spring Portfolio: eyeofthenewt.com Socials: linktr.ee/EyeOfTheNewt

a digifal illustration depicting a sunlit forest clearing on which a ruined fort stands. its built of white stone with ivy slowly overtaking it a d through out the image, there are a few goblins scattered, patrolling the grounds. the one we see most clearly, on the foreground carries a spear and a grin on his face.

three painted portraits side by side:
1- portrait of a brown haired pale man done in the style of an old looking oil painting. it is contained on a thin oval frame a d lit by a single point above. it shows a man wringing out his hands on a dirty rag. he is dressed in a worn white shirt, daek waiscoat and a pale yellow necktie. his hair is falling loosely around his face in a messy ponytail and gis face bears marks of decay. his eyes are glazed over like eyes of a corpse and he has the look of tightly concealed anguish on his face.
2- Digital painting of a pale, thin looking dark haired young man with a sad, contemplative expression, staring somewhere into space to the side. He's wearing early late georgian attire- white shirt, yellow cravate and a dark coat. His hair is chin-lenght and wind -toussled. His eyes are a very pale blue and he has small, dark lips with a prominent cupids bow. His nose is larghe, hooked at the end and thin and his eyes are big and downturned with heavy lids.
The painting is done in a loose painterly style, the background is a pale yellow and the portrait rests inside an ovel shape, with a dark grey colour being around it.
At the bottom there are a few inscriptions reading: "Andrei Croft", "England 1835", and in cursive in the middle there is a Like 12:2 quote in latin.
3-portrait painting of a dark skinned older woman with white hair and pearl earrings. she is wearing a victorian style green blouse embridered with flowers and is smirking slightly while staring at the viewer head on.

four illustrations side by side:
1-digital illustration of a witchy woman under a full moon holding a skull. she is wearing a loose dress, trinket jewelery, her skin is dark, reflecting the blue hues of the sky and her hair is in dreadlocks.
2- a painting showing a crazed village woman mid-transformation into a corvid demon. the light from the moon is red and she is levitating in a corn field, her body contorting and a crazed smile adorning her face.
3-a digital painting of a young girl in viking-style dress, sorrounded by a fluttering group of crows. The background is a foggy, cold, branble area of sorts with dried grass at her feet and her dress is a muted jean-blue. She has a woven belt, a pouch hanging off it and a fur cloak around her shoulders. there is some viking style brass jewelery around her neck. Her hair is blonde , tied back and she has short bangs. There is a determined exúression on her face and her fists are clenched as if getting ready to stand her ground.
At the bottom of the page, there is a copyright bar reading: © Studio Agate 2025, Shadows of Esteren: Dearg 2, Charlie "Newt" Borovský 2023 @EyeOfTheNewt
4-A thin vertical illustration in an Art Nouveau poster style depicting a small man in a paired dance with a dark horned figure. The devil is clad in flowing fabrics and furs, his skin dark grey. He is tipping the smaller man back, one hand supporting at the small of his back and the other intertwined with the other's fingers. Andrei is wearing a short with billowy sleeves, a green west and tightly fitting pants with white socks and fancy shoes. He has a shocked expression on his face as he's being tipped back and his medium lenght dark brown hair falls freely.
The background is made of intricate decorative designs and the text on top says: Saltiato Cum Diabolo.

The final transformation, the last judgement of souls and objects

A person is running to the right with an arm outreached. Visible on their back is a crisscrossed array of blue tattoos. They are facing a galloping horse. In the background: two fire-engulfed hands coming down from the top of the page, with strings wound around the fingers. Behind the hands is a large pale rock; behind the pale rock is a dark burgundy landscape. The night sky is a deep blue.

Last year I spent a silly amount of time playing the game Rogue Trader by Owlcat games. After my first run I wanted to make my own character, a mad zealot priest. So meet Uriel Von Valancius, Archdeacon, the kind that flames first and preaches later Hope you like it!
