Anyone else out there write a skeet, convince themselves it’s either too spicy or nobody will give a skunk’s butt, then delete it? Just me? Cool cool cool. Back to my usually scheduled lurking.

I own a little Keychron keyboard that has a switch on the back for swapping typing layouts. I type using Colemak and this switch allows me to do things that require the QWERTY layout with a small flick rather than rebind everything. It’s the little things that make life enjoyable.

I was just on a Teams call and my colleague asks what the sound she’s hearing in the background is. It takes me a minute to realize that it’s the cat snoring. Lola was a solid 10 feet away on a lower horizontal plane and my microphone picked her up! Boy, she’s full of sass lately.

I spilled half a bag of cat food on the floor. My cat, who hasn’t finished her provided food today, scrambled to consume as many pieces as she could. She then proceeded to sit on the remaining mound on the floor like some sort of cat Smaug.

Happy Celebrate #Bisexuality Day! To my dear bi friends, I’m so lucky to know & love you. Thank you for being your gorgeous, authentic selves & bringing so much joy into my life. To all the bi folks out there: I hope you know you’re seen, valued & are worthy of celebration every day! 🩷💜💙

Katie talks a bit about the Chipmunk trip to Oshkosh in this episode. But also she give some solid general life advice that EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU needs to hear. Go on! Give it a listen!

With the weather cooling down, can we all agree that all things of a holly jolly nature aren’t allowed until AFTER Remembrance Day? Personally I’d asked to wait until December 1, but I know that’s a big ask for some of you.

The world’s largest battery-electric aircraft flew for the first time on the 12th of August, a 27-minute test flight over upstate New York that cost about five dollars in electricity. Heart Aerospace’s 30-seat prototype is a big step toward a commercial version. buff.ly/i3f0PhR #ShareGoodNewsToo

I had the opportunity to fly into Ottawa International Airport yesterday to attend the Gatineau Airshow. They showcased the next generation of the Canadian Snowbirds. Those Siskins are going to be incredible! What an agile bird with a delightful noise attitude. I’m so excited! #avgeek #aviation

As a Canadian, this whole EU thing feels like I’m being flirted with by someone who is well out of my league, but for some reason finds me hot as hell! 😆

It’s concerning that some AI companies are suddenly calling for regulation and kill switches. I can’t tell if they’re trying to extend the bubble or have seen something truly horrifying occur.

Somehow, I captured an insane video of the Snowbirds & CWHM Lancaster flying in Toronto today from Humber Bay. Let me tell you… the PC-21s are going to sound insane compared to the Tutors. Those jets are gracefully quiet. Siskins are unapologetically loud. Happy hibernation Snowbirds! #aviation
