I was going to choose a team based on what city I like the most, but seeing SF’s uniforms I just can’t do it. Boston’s are so good and NY’s were good too. Tough choices. Just need an Atlanta expansion next year to make this easy! #WPBL

Atlanta, is there a better way to report cars parked in a bike lane than ParkATL through 311 plus @bikelaneuprising.bsky.social?
🚨 Atlanta! Decatur area folks! 🚨 ICE are out and active in our area. They are following white worker vans. Be ready to film. A whistle can buy a bit of time and let others around know what's happening. It's good to shout ICE / migra if you are safe and able.
Someone I know got ICEd today, and my little whistle couldn't do anything to stop it. 💔
The city of Atlanta is celebrating Independence Day by shutting down the one cooling center it operates. So @indivisibleatl.bsky.social will be out delivering cold waters through the city. Tag me if you know of a spot we might not think of.
After allowing 4+ runs in an inning I would say maybe pull your pitcher, but tonight, Texas, you may want to consider a new catcher! Go Dawgs
Stop spending public money on things that don’t benefit Atlantans. If ABI wants to buy a building to eventually move into that’s fine (I don’t love it, but I get it), but the rest of the building should be rented out at market rate. Businesses that require offices don’t need artificially low rents.
Beltline buys office building for $16.5M to preserve affordable space
The Atlanta Beltline has acquired an office building along the Eastside Trail in a move it says will preserve affordable commercial space. It also could occupy space there.

Why does this OKC crowd look like a bunch of miis Everyone is just so still
This guy thinks bc his family put down money for the Beltline he gets more of a say than the 100k+ Atlantans that voted on the More MARTA referendum, pay taxes, & live & work here each day. We need to stop letting corporate billionaires run our city or nothing will ever change.
Make no mistake. The forces against BL rail are the same ones that gave us Cop City. And the only Atlanta they're protecting is theirs.

The City of Atlanta Department of Watershed Management has issued a boil water advisory for the downtown corridor due to an internal power failure at the Hemphill Water Treatment Plant. Power has been restored. This advisory is out of an abundance of caution. See maps for impacted areas.
Link to the map of boil advisory locations can be found here. Please make this much more accessible in the future by directly linking to it in posts/press releases. @cityofatlantaga.bsky.social

That's great! What would be even greater is if the Metropolitan ATL area actually had one of the nations largest combined rapid transit and regional rail systems! That would be something to brag about. All that sprawl and car dependency isn't cute. atlanta.urbanize.city/post/census-...
Atlanta climbs (back) to 6th largest metro in the United States
Take that, Miami and Washington D.C.

Every time I have to get in a car I’m reinforced in my belief that nobody should be allowed to drive.
