Looking for full-time, remote senior/staff or tech lead level work. TypeScript is my strongest suit, but I'm a flexible polyglot. Boosts for visibility appreciated!

The space suit helmet was the closest I thought I could get to a hood 😆 watch out ring-bearer, me and my eight friends are coming for you! Built on @rpg.actor, the collab with @middleearth.quest is super rad. View my character sheet and create your own: rpg.actor/malpercio.dev #rpgactor #atproto
Hm, wanted to check out the new @rpg.actor gear from @middleearth.quest, however my messages won't load :( I see that I have some though. /probably/ something I did, between the did:web and the PDS impl that I built and am the sole user of, lol
A friend of mine made a daily Pokemon puzzle game which is kind of a mashup of dominos and Pokemon types. You have to chain together ‘mons that share a type without repeating any types. It’s fun, check it out! pokimo.withy.me

a remarkably effective life hack: just be nice to people it's incredible how much goodwill people will extend to you if you're pleasant to them
The Dark Lord Sauron's most powerful creation, the One Ring, has awoken. It wants to be found! He is searching for it too but he must not find it. When this post reaches 200 likes, it will reveal itself to one of you. ⚔️ One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them...

this would have been an amazing weekend to travel to New York. Not only could I have gone to the meetup, I /also/ could have gone to between one and four King Gizzard shows. still having a great weekend though!
tired: updating to alpha software to play with spaces wired: implementing the spaces spec in your silly custom pds
finally starting the job hunt. can’t decide if I should flip this profile to my government name persona or just make a different account. probably going to just make a different account.
Alien Metal is out today. gonna be on Level 5 allllllll fuckin day today
a CCL tear and TPLO surgery, a few days in the hospital with AHDS, and now a planned gallbladder surgery to deal with thickened mucocele plus a Cushing’s diagnosis. It’s been quite the year so far for my two dogs. I’d do anything to keep them happy and healthy for as long as possible.
whew, we’re really in throes of augie-doggie now
Welcome to Flushes 2.0 The Internet's Bathroom. All-gender, always. 🏳️⚧️ Built on @atproto.com, Flushes is a silly app for sharing when you're flushing. You know what's not silly? Bathroom bills. They target & harm trans people. Try Flushes & join our fundraiser for @trevorproject.bsky.social:

I never called what I did “coding” and tbh I found being called a “coder” demeaning if not insulting I fixed shit and solved problems and sometimes it involved code. Sometimes it didn’t. The biggest money-save I ever made happen at a job was from reading AWS documentation, not “coding”
I loved coding and I don’t regret this new approach at all
it is nice to have the robot work on something while I read a book. and the Dungeon Crawler Carl series has been a fun read so far, now on book four
Getting ever closer to opening the app up to a public TestFlight beta! Of course right now it relies on a specific PDS implementation so I’d also need to mint invites for folks. Perhaps before I open it, I work on the interop with any PDS. obsign.org
Obsign — hold the keys to your own identity
An identity wallet for the AT Protocol. The keys that control your identity live in your device's Secure Enclave, not on someone else's server.

I should probably get to writing about what I’ve been building and sharing it with folks. I think it’s cool, I’ve done a couple seamless account migrations in-app, I’ve added blobstore backup to iCloud, Secure Enclave holds your root rotationKey, and we generate a recovery key split in shares.
This is a fascinating experiment with the Bluesky firehose aim.cee.wtf
Buddy List — who's online on Bluesky
An AIM-style buddy list of your Bluesky mutuals. See who's online in real time — with the door chime when someone signs on.

Man it was great seeing Weird Al. Fantastic music, and I honestly really look up to him, I think it takes a ton of wit to do what he does, and he and his band are so talented. I wish to be so comfortably “weird” (complimentary).
first time running into a fable classifier error when working on one of my side projects I had asked it to do a code review …uhhh what did you find buddy? 🫣
maybe it’s the wrong thing to say but like, man, staff engineer was a title handed to me. but I’m already past “making enough to be comfortable”. i was as senior. i don’t desire to make work _more_ of my life. so like, telling me i’m super great in some areas, but im not “staff enough”? 1/
