Newest addition to my X-Men comic collection. Issue number 17.
At work we have a compactor for cardboard. We tend to “shoot” boxes inside like we are playing basketball. Being old school I’m usually yelling “Jordan” as I take shots. Today my coworker was at the machine putting boxes into it. I yelled “Wemby”!!! and threw a small box at his back 😂

Yo!!!! Gas went up $.50 from the time I worked today. Got to work at noon and it was $4.50. Left at 10pm and it was $5.

I’m going to see Ravi Coltrane (John Coltrane’s son) this Friday at Krannert. My seat is row G all the way in the back, the gray dot in the middle of the green ones. Someone buy a ticket next to me and vibe out to some jazz. It’s a tribute to Coltrane and Miles Davis.

ICE is executing people, breaking into homes and kidnapping children — but sure, tell me more about how it’s the immigrants who are making us less safe.
The reason these ICE agents are so damn aggressive is because they want you to think twice before protesting them. Fuck that. Double down, show up, and make your voice heard. Make smart decisions and stay safe if you’re out there.
Look at this price change we had at my store recently. That’s like a 30% increase. Groceries coming down my ass.
Abolishing ICE is the bare minimum. We need to dismantle DHS. We need restitution. And we need trials.
For my 50th birthday two months ago I decided for my mid life crisis hobby, I would collect and read the original X-Men comics run. I’ve got about 160 issues. I’ve read from #300 to #345. I’m filling the gaps as I go. I’ve got a bunch of issues going back also with the oldest being #38.
Tonight, the President of the United States has launched an unconstitutional war of aggression, dooming another generation to spill their blood for oil, and lay waste to a sovereign nation. I demand that Congress exercise its power, halt this conflict, and impeach this war criminal president.
