Also on the Gorge- you could adapt the plot for different locales. To misquote Kenneth Hite- "why not set it on Glorantha"? Once Glorantha fans see the film, I'm sure they would come up with some locations and variations. But I'm not going to indulge in spoilers here.
Suggested RPG system for "The Gorge" pt2 - adapting Nights Black Agents Solo Ops by @robindlaws.bsky.social @kennethhite.bsky.social @mytholder.bsky.social swapping the characters around for the player for different scenes. This would allow for a generic skills set for 75% & allow different scenes
Suggested RPG system for "The gorge" pt 1. Questwords by @robindlaws.bsky.social for a GM & 2 players. Slight issue with both characters being snipers and therefore having a fair amount of duplicated skills. Best stress different motivations to act as significant keywords. Longcon format?
Just finished watching the horror-thriller- bit of romance film "The Gorge" on Apple TV+. While there's a number of plot holes, its a pretty effective film, set in on the two banks of the Gorge- once staffed by an American sniper; the other side by a Lithuanian sniper who fall for each other.
I’m looking forward to seeing @dracowie.bsky.social ‘s photos of his Hero Wars display with the centrepiece of his beer-stained Questworlds book.
And yes, while the new edition of Questworlds is generic, a commitment from Chaosium to start publishing a new Questworlds Glorantha book a year would be great. Still the best system for Glorantha. Creators, feel free to add to Jonstown Compendium in the meantime .
It's been a long haul to get this new edition of Questworlds published and it's disappointing that its only available in PDF at the moment with POD promised in a few weeks and a normal print run promised a lot more vaguely. & let's revise those HQG setting books/ adventures for the new edition.
Additional genre packs for Questworlds have already been published- search DrivethruRPG for Questworlds will take you there. & on itch.io there's SPEC-OPS MAGICA CRISIS an manage/anime influenced pack. More is promised- perhaps @dracowie.bsky.social would like to present his genre pack pitch?

You can choose to speculate publically on what a revised Runequest might look like or sign an NDA to see the current draft rules. Personally, I prefer to indulge in some not always serious public speculation.

Anybody else watched/ are watching the Apple TV series "Invasion"? Just to clarify, this is not an adaption of the 2000AD "Invasion" (which featured barely disguised Russians- the Volgs invading the UK) with Bill Savage leading the fightback. This is about an alien invasion set in Japan/ US/UK &
it's the 3rd February 2025 and still no release of Questworlds- the no 1 RPG. I wonder how @dracowie.bsky.social is coping up in sunny Dundee? I heard he's been taking Scottish Gaelic lessons, so he can cover the full range of Scottish media outlets on launch.
