This male Sora was foraging around the marsh edge and as soon as he filled his beak with snacks, he usually ran back to his chicks to feed them. But this time, he flew! #Birds 🪶

In positive news, was just reading about an island in Chile that installed open water solar panels and a bunch of tuna and salmon moved in underneath them because the vibrations of diesel energy had ceased. :) The world could be so good if people were just smarter everywhere.

A recently fledged Red-tailed Hawk watches a paramotor, which is a powered paraglider and is also known as a flying lawn chair, pass overhead. The large fan is quite loud, which is what may have initially caught this bird's attention.
