The Disaster Autist

@disaster-autist.bsky.social

I write, and I sometimes act. Autistic AF. I've always had an odd relationship with identity as a concept. Also, disabled and have ongoing medical problems that only get dumber as I get older.

I think we just need to straight up call him a fraud. He stole credit from the people who actually did the work after he bought the companies. He was never a genius, just good at fraud. That's why there WERE a bunch of SEC investigations into him. He should be in prison now. Not govt.

Wow, everything he touches turns to crap. Maybe he's not the genius everyone was raving about after all.

1/3: It's wild when you're Disabled and need well-established and well-publicized services you have to wait weeks to eg an application, wait weeks for it to be processed, wait weeks for an appointment, and wait weeks for a decision that not infrequently is a denial, and just as not infrequently...

Not all disabled people have family or friends who can take care of them. Charities are woefully ill equipped to provide the level of care many of us need. Being abandoned for being sick is common, and it’s not our fault. Disability is not & has never been a moral failing.

Russia is carried out a massive terrorist attack on Kyiv last night targeting civilians. The more Putin loses the more he retaliates against innocent people. Russia is a terrorist state.

: Exactly the same vibe. The malignant, cowardly, petty Warden Samuel Norton. He was a money-grubbing criminal who presented as a wholesome, humble, honest, good Christian pillar of the community and family man. We know as much about the warden's past as we do the Speaker's, too.

When opposition to “nationwide injunctions” becomes a rightwing article of faith then SCOTUS takes inappropriate vehicles to try and end it (birthright citizenship case) and Republican members of Congress write ham-fisted bills. Watch @joeneguse.bsky.social go to work on Rep. Jim Jordan.

Neguse was grilling Jim Jordan so hard this morning over language in the reconciliation bill to restrict federal judges' ability to enforce court penalties that Jordan had to consult with his lawyers
