6 August 1938: LIFEBOAT CRUISES The Whitehills lifeboat, Civil Service No 4, paid a visit to Cullen this afternoon under the charge of Coxswain A Findlay, with Mr Geo Lovie, mechanic. Large numbers visited the boat, and enjoyed the cruises, which continued until 8pm.

31 July 1907: FIRE EXTINGUISHER Mr Arthur Wood, Macduff, representative of Minimax Ltd, London, gave an exhibition of fire extinguishing on the Square this evening. Mr Wood had a large pile of boxes erected and these were saturated with tar and paraffin.
