About 30 years ago, Brendan Canty told me I should listen to early Midnight Oil. I BELIEVED HIM, but folks, you can only hold so much in the little bit of the brain that we use at one time. Well tonight, I am here to tell you that Brendan was, of course, right, and I am now a Midnight Oil stan.
It’s infuriating to think we’ve had over a century of science fiction to prepare for this moment yet find ourselves so ill-equipped to handle it.

I need some real solidarity. On Friday, I published this article about why Zuckerberg should resign. It’s being throttled on Meta products and I’ve had several attempts to hijack my fb acct. Please repost this article, esp on your Meta accounts. #ZuckMustGo www.theguardian.com/technology/c...

NEWS: WV GOP Assistant Majority Leader Elliott Pritt has been arrested and charged with enticing a minor after allegedly grooming a 15-year-old through Roblox and Snapchat, then having her meet him in his classroom. GOP leadership won't call for his resignation.
None of them said that. He should be apologizing to their families for their deaths and for putting words in their mouths. Nobody should die for a president's vanity war.
I don't like Graham, but I'm also not a fucking idiot, which makes it difficult to just go "oh wow heart attack, tough" when a mountain of doubt sits right there. An investigation should happen, but it isn't going to; but like all things, if you let one go, more will follow.
