Out looking for displaying Goshawk. Super surprised to see see a Marsh Harrier enjoying the thermals. Similar area to where the Berks/Bucks/Oxon Booted Eagle was a couple of years ago so this intially got the heart thumping! 🙂 @bucksbirdclub81.bsky.social

A nice 90min at Longniddry Bents. 150 LTDucks, Mergansers, RT Divers and BT Divers offering nice view. Slavs, GC and BN Grebes also making an appearance along side rafts of scoter and Eider. Such a fabulous strip of coastline. 🎄 🏴 #ukbirding @scottishbirding.bsky.social

A day at Abberton Res birding with Pete and a good friend. As always, over-whelming numbers of waterbirds to scan through. We saw six Smew (2 drakes, 4 redheads), Lesser Scaup, 10 Greater Scaup, 2 Slavs, 3 Common Scoter. Couldn't find the Little Stints. Beautiful light. #Essexbirding

This adult Caspian Gull was a late arrival in the evening gloom at Little Marlow Gravel Pit this evening. Gull numbers have been decent the last few weeks, but Casps have been few and far between #ukbirding
