Hey, neighbour! Come check out the Tango2Echo festival at Greenview Industrial today. Myself and my team will be at the Ward 4 booth from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Stop by to say hi and check out all of the live music, vendors, and car show.
Hey, neighbour. Today is obviously a really difficult day for a lot of Ward 4. Our hearts go out to the family of Parker today. While there's relief that he's been found, this is obviously not the news that any of us were hoping for. I want to thank every single neighbour who went out searching.
Hey, neighbour! The City is continuing to make progress on our Safer Together plan. This work ensures that we make progress to end the revolving door that leads individuals back into encampments and back on to the street, and ensures that support and enforcement both play a role.
Hey, neighbour! Last night’s house fire in Beddington Heights was serious, but I am glad that the Calgary Fire Department was able to prevent this fire from growing and damaging neighbouring homes.
Hey, neighbour! Thank you to the Calgary Police and Conservation officers who searched Nose Hill today for Parker. If you have any information please call CPS at 403-266-1234, and continue to check your own property for places a child could hide or become trapped.
Hey. neighbour. Let's find Parker together, by working with the Calgary Police Service. If you have any information on Parker's whereabouts, please call the non-emergency number at 403-266-1234.
Hey, neighbour. Today I spoke to Calgary's media to share the message from the Calgary Police Service for all Calgarians to search their front yards and backyards for Parker. We want to get this young man home to his family as soon as possible, so please do your part to look at your home.
Hey, neighbour! On Friday, July 24 I will be hosting a casual get together and community conversation afternoon at Citizen Brewery from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. This is your chance to bring your issues to me in person, and connect with other community members. RSVP at djkelly.ca/ontap
Hey, neighbour! Today I had the opportunity to congratulate the Wilder Institute/Calgary Zoo on their remarkable renovation of their Asian animal habitats. The new Asian Highland enclosures are a testament to the work that the zoo is doing to better care for animals and also make them accessible.
Hey, neighbour! I was pleased to introduce the sailors of the HMCS Calgary and HMCS Tecumseh on stage alongside MDmotivator this week at the Cowboys Music Festival ahead of Ella Langley. It was a great opportunity to connect more Calgarians to the Canadian Armed Forces and Calgary Salutes.
Hey, neighbour! One of the personal highlights for me this Stampede was being immortalized in pancake form at the Contemporary Calgary Stampede Breakfast. Art is good for the mind and it turns out its good for the stomach too.
Hey, neighbour! I have a special shout out video from Mayor Jeromy Farkas to one of our youngest Ward 4 neighbours Nyla, who asked me all about my role as Deputy Mayor of Calgary at the Highland Park Stampede BBQ yesterday, and wanted to meet Mayor Farkas in person.
❤🤠Thanks so much to everyone who came out on Saturday and made the 2026 TGCA Stampede Yahoo a boot-scootin success. And a huge thank you to the event committee, event volunteers, TGCA Booster Club, TGCA business members & elected official teams for making it another event for the books! @djkelly.ca
Hey, neighbour! Today was a great day to spend time at Northland Mall and Highland Park meeting with neighbours and celebrating the spirt of the Stampede. After a few days of attending events as Deputy Mayor, it was great to return to Ward 4 and greet friends and champion the best ward in Calgary.

Hey, neighbour! On Sunday, I had the distinct privilege to welcome new Canadian citizens at the Triwood Stampede Breakfast and Citizenship Ceremony. I truly believe we live in the best city in the best country in the world, and I couldn't think of a better place to become a Canadian than in Ward 4.
Hey, neighbour! I was thrilled to attend today's announcement by the Government of Canada that they are investing $40 million into Contemporary Calgary. This along with the $40 million from the Government of Alberta is a game changer for contemporary art in Calgary, and for our nation.
Hey, neighbour! Thank you Calgary for coming out on an amazing day for the Calgary Stampede Parade. It was truly an honour to cheer the start of the Stampede alongside my council colleagues Kim Tyers, Jennifer Wyness, John Pantazopoulos, Andrew Yule, Rob Ward, and of course all of you. Yahoo!
Hey, neighbour! I can't think of a better way to kick off the Calgary Stampede than flipping a few pancakes with my council colleagues John Pantazopoulos and Harrison Clark at First Flip, even though I did get hit with a pancake.
Hey, neighbour! Thanks to a Ward 4 neighbour, myself and my team along with the Parks team at the City were able to replace the flags at Confederation Park just in time for Canada Day. I can't think of a better place to start my Canada Day celebrations than at the most patriotic park in Calgary.
Hey, neighbour! This year's Chief David Crowchild Memorial Award was given to Roy Bear Chief, and it was an honour to attend the ceremony alongside my council colleagues Mayor Jeromy Farkas and Ward 7 Cllr. Myke Atkinson.

Hey, neighbour! Stampede season is almost upon us, but I'm so glad I got to join the Edgemont Community Association over the past weekend to get in the spirit with their Stampede breakfast. It was great to share in the century tradition of pancake breakfasts in Calgary, and connect with neighbours.
Hey, neighbour! Partnerships are at the heart of everything that I do for Ward 4, which is why I was so pleased that my Partnership Lead Rukhsaar Daya was able to attend the Heritage Calgary Report to the Community today to help foster that connection from council to community.
Hey, neighbour! There’s still time to get rid of your spring cleaning that has been piling up at the Dalhousie Community Cleanup. On until 2 p.m.
