Disappointed to see DJ Qbert using Ai slop for new Scratchy Seal records. It's one thing to see someone just share a post because they don't know better, but Qbert actively chose to use Ai instead of hiring artists. I'm not in the mood to babysit my elders, but definitely not supporting him now.
It's sad to see old heads in Hip Hop using generative Ai. Many of them either use it as an "easy button" for making promo, writing essays, or get easily distracted by the "shiny keys" of some video remix of 70s kung-fu movies and something else. How do we educate them that is not ok? #NoAi 🚫🤖
It’s notable that Yuji Ohno appeared in quite a few Lupin III specials! I think 6 or 7? I’d have to rewatch and make notes again. He and Yasuo Otsuka cameo’d the most in the series, by far.
Yuji Ohno was one of the very best to ever do it. Without him, I wouldn’t have fallen head over heels for Lupin. My life wouldn’t be the same without being so taken by that iconic theme. His work on that series and beyond mean more to me than words can describe. Rest in peace, king.

We are saddened to hear of the passing of Yuji Ohno. A legendary musician who was the heart & soul of most of the music of Lupin the Third for nearly 50 years will certainly live on as his music & themes will continue to be synonymous with the famous thief.
