The argument that these things are "scarce" when you don't even have anywhere to plug them into is nonsense...unless NVIDIA is saying you NEED to take them now, or else. GPUs are stacked in warehouses.

At no point did I imagine that restaurants would willingly put out horrific looking images of their food on purpose

I had no idea this was a thing, that's wild. I don't trust Richard Garriott with any new game projects of any kind at this point, but EA hasn't even done the bare minimum with the Ultima series, so... okay, I guess? A simple remaster collection would be nice, at least.

Remember when Crunchyroll tried to make their subtitles significantly worse a year ago? They backtracked on it at the time, but I suspected they were just delaying their plans to shift from Aegisub to OOONA, and sadly, it seems I was right: Crunchyroll is actively pushing OOONA subs to users now.

I'm not saying that you need to accept this, but everyone needs to understand that there are practically no major non-indie studios that aren't adopting some form AI coding tools in their toolchain. And IGF disclosures apparently exposed some indie darlings as using it too (to judges only)
