Without naming names, this is absolutely happening with J>E locs, even and especially from devs/pubs that used to have a rock solid reputation. A lot of companies are bleeding talent, both in-house and freelance, as they either leave for what few green pastures remain or quit the field entirely.

Apple charges people ~20% more than the Patreon list price and they keep the difference for themselves. They also hold the proceeds of iOS app sales for 75 days, making it impossible for creators to accurately predict earnings. They basically inserted themselves in order to rip *more* people off

I thought this was a pretty interesting take from Codeberg's announcement of their anti-LLM policy They argue that many developers using LLMs are essentially heaven-banning themselves where they don't realize they're developing for a nonexistent community

My peak of #lightnovels reading was 173 books back in 2020 (which in terms of total reading was like reading the LotR trilogy twice, every month) and I did very little with my free time besides reading that year. 100 a year is still pretty reasonable but 200 books a year is a lot of books lol
