I'm doing a quality check on the next episode of @dndversus.bsky.social before publishing today and had forgotten I made a "rule of cool" decision challenging anyone disagreeing to join the Patreon for $1 a month to debate. Pay me to debate me is a harder line than I ever thought myself capable.

My favorite thing is when players pick up on a subtlety of how I'm doing an NPC voice to anticipate a reveal and JT nails this one and manages it in a surprising way that actually has me- the DM- on edge. Enjoyed where this went, excited about where it's going. Listen where you get your podcasts:

Small cut from a recent DND Versus recording, I *love* giving players a wealth of magic items and tools, and the blank check* I give JT in this one is SURE to lead to some fun shenanigans. *I said that his character's wheelchair has 4 portals connected to fixed locations of the player's choosing

I know there's a LOT going on in the world but in spite of and maybe because of all that, I'm really proud of this show. I pushed past my comfort zone getting this going and I'm floored by the help and support I've gotten from friends. Fantasy and goofs don't fix anything, but they are a nice break.
