They got tired of fighting universities, only to have a powerful one (Harvard) fight back. So they're going to just screw us all over in one fell swoop unless we all bow down and throw away DEI programming and students' rights to free speech.

As of today, the NIH is saying it will deny funds to institutions that have any DEI programs. Segregationists are so threatened that marginalized people *may* have opportunities for advancement that they are willing to shut down universities and the scientific enterprise over it.

It’s human nature to desire wealth/privilege (resources). One example is we all get old or sick at some point and want to be able to survive w/o working, etc. It is pathologic, antisocial behavior to hoard excess resources while watching others suffer for lack of. There are no ethical billionaires
