I don’t think I’ll ever get over how much I love Kevin Gausman. He’s the definition of humble, and in just under five years, he’s somehow become more Canadian than people who have lived here their entire lives. We’re really going to miss that guy.

Ross Atkins clearly has a type: elite hair. We lost our original Flow Father in Gausman, but with Arrighetti joining Cease, we’ve still got the best manes in the league.
I am absolutely elated that the Blue Jays finally traded Jeff Hoffman. Good riddance! And honestly? My deepest, most sincere apologies in advance to Minnesota. You have no idea what you’re in for.
I have to give credit where it’s due: Ross Atkins is making the best of this deadline so far. Bringing in Soriano, Arighetti, and Smith (assuming he regains his old form) is a pretty solid return for the haul today.
Makes sense. With Gausman, Bieber, and likely Scherzer all gone by tomorrow, we’re going to need someone to toss a ball just to finish out this horrendous season.

Never thought I’d say this so soon, but I’m actually not worried about the Raptors at the center spot… at least in Summer League. Sharp and Bittle have been an absolute blast to watch as a duo in Vegas. Who knew?
