I see United Summer Transfer Panic has hit new heights. While I prefer to stay calm and patient, retaining trust in Wilcox/Vivell/Ineos (they've earned it so far) the pressing need for a LB and another CM surely hasn't escaped them. Sounds like the Hall deal is tough, but come on, find the players!

I’ve had this feeling during this tournament that it’s meant *slightly* less under Tuchel. Always wanted Southgate to be the guy who brought it home. Perhaps why this defeat hurts less than Italy and Croatia. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

An enjoyable chat with Ed about United's midfield signings (or not), Mainoo's (lack of) England appearances and the World Cup in general. #mufc

I think Croatia can feel very, very hard done by. Dubious penalty call goes against them and then the late equaliser is chalked off because it brushes the tip of a player's hair. Wow, what a game though.

Feel weirdly emotional about Ben Stokes’ retirement. Those 2019 innings will be etched in my memory forever. A cricketer who meant a lot to me with that insane fighting spirit and who, actually, transcended cricket.

The hydration breaks are by far the worst thing about this World Cup and it’s obvious they’re nothing to do with being hot/dehydrated. They’re taking more than three minutes each time (which isn’t always added on) and they completely destroy the flow of games.
