There’s been a lot of posts about the Team Canada Olympic wear, specifically the colours. My 10 year old grandson thought the puffer vest was great so, on a whim I bought it. I know, over priced, etc. Then I found this pic of Amur maple leaves in my Alberta backyard. Not red and white but still 🇨🇦

A Volkswagen ID. Buzz Microbus pulled up beside me in the parking lot yesterday. It was the brightest thing out there. I asked the owner about it & although it cost $$$$ she said recharging it was much less than gas. It was adorable & looked a lot more fun than the garbage can on wheels.

I had to stop at the grocery store late this afternoon. Behind me was a woman with 2 school aged children. The older, a boy about 10, said hi to me, so I said hi back. We had a brief chat about summer being half over then he helped put my groceries in the bags. The kids are alright.

Yes, Niagara Falls is a little cringe with its souvenir shops and the street of attractions reminds me of a midway on steroids but the falls themselves are impressive. Check this off my bucket list.

Noticed I had a sore throat a week ago. Felt like a head cold by Monday, tested negative for Covid Tuesday, felt worse last night, tested positive this morning. There goes Christmas. Yes, I did have latest COVID and flu vaccines. FML.

My husband was getting frustrated waiting for McDavid to get his 1000th point. He stood up, said “Just shoot the puck” and went to the kitchen, just as McDavid scored. I couldn’t stop laughing.
