This is not how public policy should work. Public policy cannot be built on secret standards and undisclosed criteria. If AI rules are going to shape innovation, safety, and public rights, the public deserves to see the framework, understand the benchmarks, & participate in the debate.

Katie Simpson, guest host Power & Politics, usually reports from the US. She said it’s anecdotal, but she does not see a massive Dem win, particularly in the US House. The Dems are poorly led, fighting themselves, have lost the message & will lose without rural voters.

@CBCNews better get on the right side of history. This slow rolling coup by UCP is leaking out to other eyeballs. The whole country needs to know that there are really shitty things going on in Alberta, and stop being afraid of mean tweets from crazies.

Maybe Albertans need to have a conversation about Smith's attempts to insert the UCP into the appointment of judges in Alberta Because the UCP corruption when dealing with the separatists appears to be baked in #ableg #abpoli www.cbc.ca/news/canada/...

I was born and raised in Northern Ontario and I am absolutely boiling with rage at the ways in which people elsewhere are talking about the forest fires there as though this is a common occurrence. The air thick with smoke for kilometers, entire communities wiped out - this shit is not normal.

Oil companies operating in Norway made $9.8 billion in profit last year, after paying 78% tax. But they also pay the Norwegian people for the right to extract their natural resources. That’s a social democracy, where dignity is not a privilege.

The Conservative Party of Canada has at least one leader. Maybe there’s a few hovering ghosts and one former PMs daughter wanting PP cutoff at the knees, waiting in the wings. One thing is for sure, Pierre Poilievre is not capable of speaking for all Canadians.
