6 people sitting down to play in my west marches Gradient Descent campaign tonight. Two have never played Mothership before. Two of them are absolute wrecks after their last dive and have 19 and 14 stress respectively as well as the doomed and deflated conditions. PITY THEM.

Ultimately we've got to reckon with the fact that much of the OSR movement is merely reacting to indie TTRPGs' tendency to lose sight of why many folks take up the hobby: for a safe and budget-friendly way to satisfy the natural human impulse to put one's friends in some kind of fucked up labyrinth.

Still Dolmenwood-ing. I'm hoping to release a piece next week. Been noodling some magic items for it and really pleased with their vibe.

Hive mind, give me your best suggestions for dungeon dressing, murals, and grave goods in a barrow. Theme: mighty chieftains. Strong celtic/cwrnus/Slainé vibe. Big on antlered head dresses, wickermen, sacrifice and murdering trolls and giants. Anachronisms like chariots or steel are fine.
