Real leadership isn’t about speaking louder - it’s about engineering the conditions where the quietest, least‑heard perspectives meaningfully shape decisions. #IWD
Gwnewch y pethau bychain mewn bywyd (do the little things in life). At the heart of this is that the small, everyday acts of care, attention, and integrity are what shape a good life and a good community. Not the grand gestures, not the dramatic achievements - but the quiet, consistent things.
Pipe cleaners are an important part of my toolkit now! I love it when this happens. For some, it’s a really useful creative outlet.
Look what happens when you leave coloured pipe cleaners on tables when people are having conversations about ideas and potential collaborations. People potch, play & create. It helps to focus energy and tap into people’s creativity. Each one of these just so happen to represent their conversation.
Progress starts with acceptance of your current reality. Instead of waiting for perfect conditions, use whatever skills, tools, and energy you already have. Even small actions, taken consistently, create momentum and lead to meaningful results.
Important and useful research findings here from my @publicmap.bsky.social colleagues.

Wisdom isn’t about knowing everything - it’s about discernment. Life is full of details, distractions, and imperfections. Trying to address or react to everything leads to stress. Wisdom means choosing what truly matters and ignoring what doesn’t.

I love this quote... music is the space between the notes. That notion that a certain amount of emptiness is appreciated. That the space between, the liminal space, allows the notes to resonate, to reach their full potential. That's where the music happens.
Public Map is a wonderful project to work on… and Tristian is fab. No doubt this will be a really interesting conversation.
Tune in to Radio Cymru this evening at 19:00 to hear Dr Tristian Evans talking about Public Map and in particular, mapping Ynys Mon’s music. www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m...
