+3 Battleaxe, Legendary (requires attunement)

An unusual instrument of war to be sure, this battleaxe has been fitted with a leather strap that runs along the butt of it allowing for an easy way to carry it along. In a more odd detail, a skull of some beast has been fitted to the face. The teeth of the skull have had metal strings affixed to them which run the length of the handle where they are attached to tuning pegs much like you would see on a bard’s lute. The knob of the axe has been flared outward near where the tuning pegs have been set, turning this weapon into something much more interesting. You have a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magical weapon.

While attuned to this axe, it can be used as a lute, granting you a +2 bonus to performance checks made to play it. Additionally, while attuned you are always considered proficient with this magical instrument.

Raining Blood. Twice per day, you can use an action to don the axe and slam out a devastatingly dark riff ripping blood from the veins of injured enemies and causing a maelstrom of raining claret. Hostile creatures within 60 feet of you, that can hear, must attempt a DC 19 Constitution saving throw, taking 10d6 force damage on a failed save or half as much on a successful one. Creatures that are below half of their maximum hit points have disadvantage on this saving throw. A storm of blood then appears in a 10 foot aura around you for 1 minute. Creatures that begin their turn in this aura, or enter it for the first time must succeed on a DC 19 Charisma saving throw or become frightened until the end of their turn. This ability resets daily at dawn.

What appears to be a somewhat standard chalk board with a wooden frame has had leather straps placed on the back of it turning it into a makeshift type of shield. Hanging from the bottom of the shield is a convenient bag of chalk pieces as well as an eraser on a chain. The top of the shield has been fitted with a wrapped handle making it easy to spin the shield to face the user and draw up new plans. While holding this Shield, you have a +1 bonus to your armor class.

This shield has 3 charges. You can use an action to draw a tactic on the chalk board of the shield, expending one of the charges to utilize one of the following abilities. This shield’s charges reset daily at dawn.

Regroup. At the end of this turn, allies within 30 feet of you can move up their movement speed without provoking attacks of opportunity.

Guarded Position. Allies within 5 feet of you gain an additional +1 bonus to their AC until the start of your next turn.

Rallying Stance. At the end of this turn, allies within 30 feet of you gain 3 temporary HP.

These rough hewn leather gauntlets are covered in a layer of thick and wiry fur that seems to have come from some great furred beast. The fingertips have been replaced with large metallic claws that have been sharpened to razer-like finish. When worn, these gloves tighten down on your forearms making them feel more like a second skin than a glove.

While you’re wearing these gloves, your unarmed strikes are considered magical for the purpose of overcoming immunity and resistance to nonmagical attacks and damage, and you gain a +1 bonus to the attack and damage rolls of your unarmed strikes. Additionally, you gain a climb speed equal to half of your movement speed, rounded down.

Bestial Reflexes. Three times per day, when you are hit by a melee weapon attack, you can use your reaction to immediately attempt an unarmed strike against the creature that attacked you. Uses of this ability reset daily at dawn.

This neckpiece is composed of a highly resonant metal that rings satisfyingly when a finger is run over it. A single, wrapped leather band runs through the center of the oddly contoured bars of metal that make up most of the wrapping of this piece of jewelry. At the center, a carved wooden bauble sits resembling the face of a man wearing an iron helmet, yelling out at the top of his lungs. When worn the bars shrink and stretch as the wearer speaks, growing larger with higher volumes, and shrinking to nothing when the wearer is silent.

While attuned to this item, you can raise your voice to be audible at any distance up to 500 feet. Your voice is heard at a normal volume by all creatures within the chosen distance, though walls and similar structures still muffle your voice as normal.

Twice per day, while attuned to this necklace, you can use an action to let out an ear-piercing yell in a 30 foot cone in front of you. Creatures within the cone must attempt a DC 15 Constitution saving throw. On a failure, they take 6d8 thunder damage and are frightened for 3 rounds. On a success, they take half as much damage and are not frightened. Uses of this ability reset daily at dawn.
