‘Only Need One Kidney…’ just reached 50 ratings on Amazon. It’s my first book to hit that benchmark. It also just hit 100 ratings on Goodreads. My only other book to reach 100 ratings on Goodreads, Clown Tear Junkies, took about seven years to get there. Kidney’s been out for < than 3 months. (1/2)

"I've been going through a lot lately and this crazy book gave me some laughs I so needed. Like laugh out loud laughs..."
"...a perfect blend of surreal comedy-horror in a story both wonderful and superbly strange, Douglas Hackle is now my kindred spirit and I hope the author doesn't object to the perfectly normal parasocial relationship we're now in." —from Liam Ray's review of 'You Only Need One Kidney...'

I’m humbled and honored that Weird Lit Magazine has nominated my story “Please, God, Don’t Let Dogs Die Anymore” for a Pushcart Prize. There’s something like 10,000 such nominations every year, so I have no expectations of actually winning, but the nomination feels good.
Today we're sharing our sixth issue, featuring seven authors and one visual artist who have contributed their weird and wonderful work. Read more at www.weirdlitmag.com/. P.S. We once again received a record number of submissions. Thanks again to all who shared their stories with us!

Dang, this blurb from @adamcesare.bsky.social. I’ve had all year to come up with something to express how grateful I am for it, but the best I can come up with is “Dang, this blurb from Adam Cesare.” But seriously, dang, this blurb from Adam Cesare!
As always, today is a good day to support writers, artists, creators. If you can, consider buying a book, commission an art piece, sign up for someone's Patreon. You can also leave a nice comment, write a review, spread the word about someone's work. Everything helps.
My short film AFTER THE FALL (based upon a story by Jeffrey Thomas) will be playing Scream Diego in Cali, and the Northern Lights Fantastic Film Festival in Iceland soon. I'm grateful for the attention to this project--a horror/sci-fi film which is not necessarily that interested in scaring you ...
