When a lot of FAB folks started migrating to bsky, Marina was fervently bumping the good word and promoting folks to re-network in this new space. Without her efforts and infectious positivity, I very likely wouldn't have had the inspiration to fire up the #fabtcg feed.

Marina is a member of the community who truly embodies the welcoming spirit. Who works to make this a better place for all. Seeing her made to feel like she doesn’t belong is heart breaking. None of us are without faults. But the best of us own them and grow from mistakes. Not scrub them away.

If Sloopdoop were "The Professor" of #fabtcg, I would know without a shadow of a doubt that Flesh & Blood would not be a community for me. Thankfully, that's not the case and never will be. No room for bigots, no tolerance for the intolerant.
It's a joke and a slap in the face that you'd praise Pitch Perfect's efforts in lifting women and LGBTQ people in the hobby while at the same time funding a known misogynist and transphobe. And the AUDACITY to compare him to The Professor who does yearly fundraisers for Trans Lifeline?
this is an insult to the professor and every woman/ LGBTQ+ person who plays this game. I don't expect a company to have the moral compass of a person, but you verbally espouse inclusivity. Please don't double speak by writing checks to a channel that makes your game's community unsafe

It is only ever a "lesser evil" if it works in their ideological favour, anything else is to be rejected & crushed.
Not an original point but worth saying again - there is not a single element in this picture that identifies any of these folks as law enforcement agents. No badges, no uniforms, no vests. Out of context it just looks like a bunch of random guys are kidnapping a mayoral candidate.
