One of the nice things about Celebrity Traitors is how easily and without fuss absolutely everyone uses Bella Ramsey’s they/them pronouns. See how easy it is not to be an asshole?

There’s going to be a lot of really dumb takes today but the important thing to remember is that Keir was salty and quit hoping to make life difficult for Andy Burnham and lost again
Amazing that we finally have someone who can compete with none of the above
Burnham has a large lead on preferred Prime Minister. 30% name Burnham as their preferred PM, compared to 22% for “none of them”, 15% for Badenoch, and 14% for Farage.
Perhaps during a cost of living crisis, I wouldn’t make my main platform 1) giving more money to the highest earners 2) funnelling generational wealth 3) cutting benefits for the poorest Might be very Tory values but, is this really what you want the headlines to be
This is about as embarrassing as the Ed Stone but much more fun
THE TAPESTRY IS HERE #CPC26
Did you weave Angela Rayner in? Sure did boss, real cool and relatable just like you asked for Great....wait what? #CPC26
If I were Hannah I’d be all aboard the Ross is a traitor story out of spite
Richard E Grant: murders ten Faithfuls in plain sight, cackles as he tells everyone he is Traitor. Remaining Faithfuls: “I just don’t think it would be him, you know.” #CelebrityTraitors
ross kemp was less suspicious of the taliban #CelebTraitors
I’m desperate to see Richard E Grant there for as long as possible. I can’t wait to see him at the round table
Think the difference between that speech and anything Starmer offered is that there is a very clear direction of where he wants to go and what he wants the country to be, which has been pretty absent from politics for a long time (and is absent from other party platforms, tho not election season)
Every private conversation in Westminster: "Well the triple lock obviously has to go at some point". Every commentator on Burnham: "completely mad to propose getting rid of triple lock - political suicide".
The BBC news summary this morning went seamlessly from "critics warn PM scrapping triple lock would be electoral suicide" to "critics ask if PM has nerve to make tough decisions" and I don't think it's a particularly pro Burnham stance to suggest he might not be the entire problem here.
Honestly think that was one of best political speeches I’ve seen and I’m genuinely surprised. Night and day compared to Keir
My Town's Ocktoberfest is fun but also kinda unfortunately named ummmmm
For someone that had never been a backbench MP, and who broadly treated backbench MPs with at best indifference and at worst contempt during his time as leader, I'm not that surprised at all though I'd hoped he might actually have a crack at it (who knows, might have even enjoyed it?)
god I'm actually quite gobsmacked by Starmer's decision, it's just so......small, so revealing of his complete and utter lack of interest in Parliament and parliamentary politics, until the very end
Agree and reading Starmer's statement it's infuriating how his sense of moral superiority has stayed intact despite everything.
i do think it reveals something (bad) about ex-PMs characters when they can’t countenance being in parliament without the big job
