Amnesty International put out a major report documenting the influence of UK based anti trans gender critical organizations and their funding. Within hours, GC groups threatened defamation lawsuits and Amnesty was forced to pull it down. Proving the point they're anti rights. Anyways, here it is.

Furry needs more, smaller events. Not just cons. Arts markets, one-off dance nights, pub nights, BBQs in the park and beach trips. Don't get too focused on the big giant conventions when there's a thriving community all around you! (And if there isn't, build one!)

Ideas are cheap. Logistics are expensive. In 2021, I lit money on fire to start Fur Peaks - now a 7 night gathering of furries in the mountains of BC. But looking back? It was the best bad investment I ever made. Here is the blueprint on why (and how) to be unwise enough to do it too.

Welp. My departure is sending _WAVES_ through my region's tech team. I don't think upper management realized how much of an icon I was for folks. Honestly, it feels good in many ways.

And that's that. Meeting tomorrow morning at some point. SO I CAN TAKE THE REMAINDER OF THE WEEK TO HAVE FUN. AND NOT HAVE TO CHECK SLACK DURING MY SKI TRIP COMING UP! Downside: Lawyering up time.

Tomorrow looks like the finale for my 8.5-year arc at this job. And honestly? It can’t come fast enough. I’ve been fighting the script for years, burnt out from trying to build safety nets for my team while leadership actively dismantles the floor to embrace the AI grift.

Reflecting on this year... most sobering thought: I've sat through 3 people passing right in front of me at this point. The one that definitely still fucks me up the most is the one with my sister. Hard not to think about it, having been on that side of standing vigil this year, for my grandpa.
