Well It rained in Leeds, the ground was damp this morning. It rained again as I came back from the shops, too, which was lovely. It's nowhere near enough water to make a difference though.

I went vegetarian at 14 and had people trying to sneak meat into my food, calling me slurs, waving pieces of ham in my face, telling me I was going to die from poor health, refusing to provide options at meals, etc, but to this day I say I'm vegan and people are like "omg, so you're JUDGY."

I love to paint brilliantly colored skies like this. They’re one of my most popular subjects. Here in Minnesota – the land of 10,000 lakes – we’re never very far from a view just like this on a warm summer night. SUMMER SUNSET, Acrylic, 16x16” ©2026 Jim Musil

For some reason the shop was closed so I decided to cut through the backstreet to the supermarket on the high road. It was a bright morning but most of the street was still in shadow #art

Pencil drawing of a modern brick tower, the bottom obscured by rooftops. The top half of the visible structure is shrouded in black. Two bare trees are either side of the tower.
