There was a pause while he listened, but at that point he was too livid at the puppet comment. He half tuned the rest of what was said out. After that, he went over and punched NiGHTS in the jaw. “Fine. Then I’m going to do what I always do. I’ll do anything to make sure you answer for your crimes”

The place they took her to was beautiful. They were above water, but the surrounding area looked as if it were on the ocean floor. There were large cliffs of coral, and plenty of sea plants. Another group was already there practicing. “We made it! Would you like me to show you how things are done?”

She nodded and followed. Anticipation washed over her as they traveled to the beach. The blonde was looking forward to seeing the water.

“Pup-pet.” The renegade would say just to further their point. “You know what’s sad? I thought this place changed you. I keep hearing or seeing you do things that you would never normally do. Like playing music. I was hopeful at first, but you’re just the same mindless servant you’ve always been.”

His expression hardened immediately. He is not fond of that word at all. It took every ounce of his energy to stop himself from lunging at their sibling right then and there. “PUPPET!? You double crossing ingrate. I dare you to say that again.”

At first they were ashamed. Reala was right about that, but anger soon washed over them. “The reason I do that is because I prefer to hide the fact that I used to be a puppet like you. It’s shameful.”

NiGHTS already knew that Reala did not have anything good to say about them. However, something about that particular insult seemed to irritate them. “Back stabber?! That’s not true at all! I do everything I can to help and protect my friends. When is the last time you ever did that?”

She giggled at the jester’s enthusiasm. “Water ball? What is that? Those all sound fun, but that one definitely sounds the most interesting.”

“Definitely! Oh my gosh do you like flying? Maybe we could race or play music. Would you like a tour of the fountain? I know of a beach we could go to to play water ball.” They happily and energetically rambled while listing off all the activities that came to mind.
