Midsummer exists at a fascinating threshold. The days are at their longest, the fields are green, and the world feels full of possibility. Yet from this point forward, the light slowly begins its return toward winter, making the celebration both joyful and bittersweet. #WyrdWednesday

Our definition of success as a band is a teenager finding our record at a second hand shop decades later and building their inner world around it.

I really enjoyed the #folkhorror talk from @robertedgar.bsky.social last night. A flying visit but still uncovering massive depth with roots of the genre going back further than I imagined. I left feeling inspired to write, and also with a long reading list of books to get through!
