Alectinib, a small-molecule kinase inhibitor, is used as first-line treatment for anaplastic lymphoma kinase–positive (ALK+) non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Albeit generally well-tolerated, a considerable subset of patients requires dose adjustments due to drug-related toxicity.
