(Part 1) This past weekend, Museum of the Rockies staff led the first ever Browning High School Egg Mountain Eggspedition program at the Beatrice R. Taylor Paleontology Research Area near Choteau, Montana. With excitement and curiosity, students began an unforgettable journey.

Finally watched Rebirth and I can honestly say I don’t think we’ll ever recover from the direction these movies have gone. “We need tissue samples from the 3 largest dinosaurs…” and then lists a mosasaur and a pterosaur with 1 actual dinosaur. Getting basic science facts wrong in the 7th movie 🫠

In GeoLatinas, we are aware of the events that have impacted the scientific community in the United States in the last weeks due to the recent administrative changes. We believe it is important to hold a dialogue inside our community to reflect on how the new policies affect us in our intersection as women, scientists, Latinxs, and migrants, not only in the United States but also globally. More importantly, we want to propose concrete actions to support all our members and allies. Because of this, we will soon organize a community forum to listen to our voices, concerns, and ideas and build a community strategy. From GeoLatinas, we extend a strong embrace of solidarity to those who have been negatively affected. Remember that we are here as a community to support each other because we are stronger together!
