Professor Isaac Prilleltensky was one of my all time heroes. He was not only an academic giant in wellbeing - especially mattering - he was also one of the most humble, gentle, loving people you could ever meet. Not many people walk the talk - he did. He died on May 8. I will really miss him.

There is a way for the assisted dying Bill to return to parliament - and MPs owe it to terminally ill people and their loved ones to do so. Over 200 Lords wrote to MPs on Friday, calling on them to bring the Bill back in the next parliamentary session.

I'm the daughter of an Army paratrooper who refused orders during our illegal invasion of Vietnam back in the day. He went to LBJ military jail. Dad taught his girls this: "Just following orders" is NEVER any excuse for anyone who's complicit in war crimes. You MUST refuse heinous orders.

This is like some sort of video game - with language to match. Death, destroy, do what I say or else. Why are #world #leaders everywhere not standing up to this #bullying, intimidation and basically #war crimes?

The President of the United States is threatening to commit war crimes and wipe out a "whole civilization" — all because he started a disastrous war of his own making and had no plan and no strategy for how to end it. This is abhorrent, and the American people do not support this.

I am genuinely sad for all those people who have lost their homes in the #LAfires. The photos of burnt out communities are much like the devastation in #Gaza. But in what world would the life of a Palestinian #child be as newsworthy as an American celebrity?

Ten years ago major weather events did not mention #climate change. Will the #LAfires be the moment the West wakes up - just as the US elects a climate denier!

I have left X in disgust. Hoping it is more thoughtful, kinder and more positive here. Working towards a world that works for us all.
