Great takeaways from the sex, drugs & rock and roll #SABCS24 session! 📌 Limited data on supplements & high risk of interactions. Informed decision making is 🔑 📌 Sexual health includes many factors: intimacy, body image & more 📌 Movement 👟 reduces breast cancer mortality and risk of recurrence.

This study further 👏👏 supports the safety of vaginal estrogen, which can markedly improve quality of life in patients. Genitourinary syndrome of menopause is more than just vaginal dryness and low dose vaginal estrogen can help so much!

Good to see more and more organizations in alignment with starting at 40. Key point also is that everyone should be getting a breast cancer risk assessment starting at age 25 and reassessing periodically after to see if they are high risk and need earlier screening w additional modalities.

ACOG recommends starting mammography at age 40 for those at average breast cancer risk, due to a 2% annual increase in cases among women aged 40-49 from 2015 to 2019 #BreastCancer
