PM2.5 is the stuff that's been linked to malignancies and respiratory conditions in Gulf War/GWOR veterans that served in SWA. Limiting your exposure is important especially if you're in an area with a very large concentration from the fires.

Stay indoors if you can, but if you HAVE to go out - if available, skip cloth/surgical masks and use a fitted N95/KN95. Limit time.

Today SCOTUS ruled 7-2 you can't sue Bayer for not warning you Roundup might cause cancer. This ruling hinges on an EPA decision that was partly based on a safety paper ghostwritten by Monsanto employees and later retracted for "serious ethical concerns." We are so cooked.
