When your publisher surprises you with prosecco and chocolates on publication day 🥂🍫 My brilliant editor Maisie and the team make the whole publishing experience so lovely and send treats too! I honestly couldn't ask for more. Feeling very lucky today

I'm having the most lovely birthday today. Had a lazy morning with plenty of cups of tea - absolute bliss! We had a barbecue on Saturday and I had a beautiful birthday cake. Hope you're all having a wonderful week. xx

"Write a book you’d love to read. Work on it every day, which is probably impossible—but try not to skip two days in a row, and never three, and most definitely never four or five. And once you’re done, listen to and value the voices of others, but also remember that you are your best first reader."
