I am saddened by the recent passing of Jeffrey Sloychuk, a dedicated Alberta NDP community organizer. His impact on our movement is immeasurable and I thank him sincerely for all for his work raising funds for relief efforts in Ukraine. Our thoughts are with his family and all those who knew him.

It’s been 6 years, 2 Premiers & 5 Ministers of Mental Health & Addictions (3 full, 2 assoc.) since UCP first promised to build these communities across Alberta And now, with millions of Albertans’ tax $ spent, several are caught in a web of missed payments & alleged crooked contracts. 1/2 #abpoli
Alberta Premier Danielle Smith said construction on 3 recovery centres on Indigenous land will soon finish on budget, subcontractors facing stacks of unpaid invoices doubt it. Plus: One Indig group fired its contractor www.theglobeandmail.com/canada/artic... w @tomcardoso.bsky.social
In today’s edition of “The UCP Are A Bad Boss,” Public Safety Minister Mike Ellis comes out against…police? Two Ministers & the Premier are calling out EPS for trying to support communities facing increasing levels of hate, online & IRL. Because the UCP always put politics before people. #abpoli
Alberta works, provided you know the premier or share her conspiratorial beliefs.
Want to get your AISH issues addressed? Just have a family member who runs a far right podcast, invoke vaccines and the right hand man to the premier of Alberta will address it personally and directly. #abpoli #ableg #cdnpoli
The UCP are a bad boss. Turns out their decision to force Albertans to put their citizen status & healthcare on their drivers license or ID is creating huge delays. And those delays are costing registries money. Just one more way the UCP are making life harder for Albertans. #abpoli
Danielle Smith and the UCP are making this long weekend the most expensive long weekend ever! Putting gas in the tank and food in the cooler has become much more expensive over the last few years. Albertans deserve a government focused on lowering costs and making life more affordable.
October 19th is Referendum Day. Visit elections.ab.ca to read the questions in full and order a special ballot so you don't have to wait in line on election day. Remember that our voice and our vote matter. We need to GET OUT AND VOTE!
Today’s announcement of private pay preventative services won't solve wait times. It will make them worse. Danielle Smith & her UCP government have given up on fixing public health care. They have thrown in the towel and are asking us to pay instead.
Alberta allowing patients to self-refer, pay out of pocket for preventative health testing
The changes were announced in the spring and allow patients to pay for some tests and be reimbursed if the results show cancer to be found.

Danielle Smith's newest health care announcement will only drive wait times higher and force more people to live in pain and suffering while they wait for the care they need.
Some separatists claim that if you oppose Danielle Smith's referendum, you're against democracy. I disagree. I oppose her referendum because I love democracy & I'm tired of watching the UCP twist & tear it down. I took a moment to explain. #ableg

Got to share a few words at the opening of emcoalitionyeg’s Cultural Days festival yesterday. The beautiful diversity we celebrated there - that is Alberta, that is Canada. This October, let’s vote to keep it that way - REMAIN in Canada and NO to Danielle Smith’s other nine. 1/2 #abpoli
Many Albertans are frustrated with the rollout of the new ID cards. The government was trying to solve a problem that didn't exist, and all it's really done is create havoc. The question is: why is the UCP making life more difficult for Albertans? youtube.com/shorts/uJIMT...
Albertans Just Want To Get Their ID!

New polling shows that far more Albertans want a vote on keeping the RCMP than want a vote on separation. But Danielle Smith isn’t listening. Just one more reason to send her a message by voting to REMAIN in Canada & NO to her other nine. #ableg

More from my conversation with Greg Davis on My Radio 580AM about Danielle Smith’s referendum on separation. Separatists want more power & control but can’t answer the hard questions or show a real plan. But the UCP are spending $130M to keep them happy. #abpoli youtube.com/shorts/mR1Pk...

The Alberta NDP is focused on keeping money in your pocket. That's why we released the first phase of our Alberta Affordability Agenda. We were at the Edmonton Riverhawks game listening to Albertans' concerns about affordability. Better is possible. Learn more at AlbertaNDP.ca/savemoney

Yet again Devin Dreeshen refuses to say where he stands on remaining in Canada. Many other UCP MLAs and Ministers are also ducking the question. It’s clear that there are separatists in the UCP government.
The cost of Danielle Smith’s fall referendum keeps going up. The UCP spent $300K on a referendum website packed with propaganda telling Albertans how to vote. If Danielle Smith really wants to know what Albertans want maybe it’s time to drop this farce of a referendum & call an election. #abpoli
Danielle Smith spent $300,000 of your money on a website to tell you how to vote in the $130 million referendum she’s holding this fall. Why are Albertans being forced to pay for the Premier’s propaganda? #abpoli
$300,000 for a website... and that’s just the tip of the iceberg. Why are Albertans paying the price for this referendum?
Let's not forget David Parker (a good friend of Danielle Smith's—she even attended his wedding), the same man under RCMP investigation over his alleged role in the massive data breach that put millions of Albertans at risk.
Danielle Smith wants more power - to control & utterly remake immigration to AB. But just look what she’s done with the power she already has. Crooked contracts. Millions wasted. Systems in chaos. Loss of access to supports & services. Imagine what she does with more. Vote no. #abpoli
Will Albertans vote to pull coverage for hundreds of thousands of newcomers off health care and education? I tried to decode what Danielle Smith’s immigration referendums mean. www.cbc.ca/news/canada/...
The lack of clarity on the "other nine" referendum questions is galling. These policies will affect tens of thousands of Albertans, say nothing about the impacts on businesses --and yes, public services -- that depend on them. 🔗 www.cbc.ca/news/canada/...
In just 3 months, Danielle Smith, as Premier of Alberta, is forcing us to vote on separation. How did we get here? I broke it down with Greg Davis on MyRadio 580 AM. Catch the full discussion on their FB page. 1/2 #abpoli
It wouldn’t be summer in Edmonton-City Centre without Taste of Edmonton! Had a great yesterday helping kick off their 42nd year of showcasing Edmonton’s culinary & musical talent. Stop by through July 26 to check it out! #abpoli
Danielle Smith claims that under her leadership the UCP is against separation. But then why is Jeffrey Rath - a prominent separatist leader movement & now accused of misappropriating millions in trust funds from a First Nation - still a member? Who’s in charge - Smith or the separatists? #abpoli
