Listening to separatist leaders lecture everyone about following the rules is like listening to my 12 year-old tell me to turn my music down.

222,000 signatures is impressive. It's still lower than the original threshold set by the Kenney government. Not to mention time frame and regional requirements. Key takeaway: without Danielle Smith's rule changes, the separatist petition would have failed.

People who see little problem with being over-represented in the Alberta legislature take major issue with being under-represented in Ottawa. The reverse is also true, creating a lot of common ground for rural conservatives & urban progressives when it comes to bolstering democratic representation.

I am very willing to stand in line - but ordered my mail-in ballot because I want to shorten the line for others. Just like why my cycling REDUCES traffic congestion for others, my mail-in ballot reduces voting congestion for others. It's a good choice.
