I’m glad Bluesky shipped drafts but it also reminds me how long it’s been since anything was shipped? I don’t think it will be politics alone that will drive growth here.
The problem is that credible threats to invade a NATO ally will reliably keep Epstein out of the news as long as it continues.
Never thought I'd see a group of people try so hard to get into power only to give up that power on the most important decisions.. for what? Historic level pathetic. www.semafor.com/article/01/1...

It is entirely and completely likely and realistic that the military was just deployed to Venezuela in an effort acquire the nobel peace price.
The more I watch the car shooting the more it’s absolutely bonkers insane anyone would defend that. MAGA has decided that they won’t admit this guy made a mistake as it would somehow invalidate all of ICE? Not willing to admit there was even a mistake here is some crazy crazy behavior
Are we going to move on from populist politics after this? Are enough people tired of it yet?
The new entrepreneurship thing is to call yourself a “builder” and then vibe code weird little software apps that make millions by letting you edit PDFs with AI or whatever and lock people into recurring payments you forget about.
I periodically wonder what Bluesky management is up to. When was the last time there was any major product updates? Seriously, like a year? Two years?
I actually believe this could have changed the course of events. If the story was leaked, there are a number of reasons why i may not have happened. News orgs seem to think they exist outside reality and are never part of the story. www.semafor.com/article/01/0...

It is quite possible the Rubio Miami Cuban coalition convinced Trump to do this- saying it would be good for his legacy etc. Because the oil thing is just not going to pan out - or at least not any time soon. Chevron is already there. Kicking out Maduro doesn’t magically make the oil flow.
It appears we are going to war with Venezuela. To me, this kind of thing is sort of a worst case scenario with this administration.

Every time I’m in Europe I think about how bizarre it is that 1) the US just simply can’t do trains for basically inexplicable reasons. Even with conventional explanations, it seems totally insane 2) The US can’t do paid public toilets and Europe can? The US is the most capitalist country on earth?
